Miguel Angel Garcia added to the PPV Heavyweight fight of Hasim Rahman vs. Oleg Maskaev

 

 

Miguel Angel Garcia of La Colonia Boxing Club has just been added to the Rahman/Maskaev WBC title fight to be held August 12^th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.  His opponent will be Chad Ganigan of Las Vegas and will be at 129 lbs.  Miguel is coming off his impressive pro debut win July 14, 2006 at the Quiet Cannon Country Club in Montebello, Calif. where he defeated Domingo Mendoza (3-1) of Santa Ana in a four round lightweight fight.  Miguel is the younger brother of, and is being trained by, Ex-World Champ from Oxnard, Roberto Garcia.  He is also trained by his father, and well respected trainer of Champions, Eduardo Garcia.  He will also make is hometown debut on Aug. 25 when Bring It On! Promotions presents “WAR OF THE WORLDS” Professional Boxing at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center.
